Governix – Privacy Policy

Controller and scope

Governix is operated by Idea M&J s.r.o., Pivovar 205/129, 900 61 Gajary, Slovakia, company registration number 47 442 867. Privacy and support contact: info@ideamj.sk. This policy covers the Governix Android app (com.governix.game), trial and purchase verification, and related support. The iOS version is planned; we will update this policy to reflect its actual features and providers before release.

Data stored on your device

Game saves, avatar names, decisions, progress and settings are stored locally. The current Android version does not upload saved games to a Governix server or require a separate Governix account. We do not use gameplay to infer or profile your real political opinions. Do not enter sensitive personal information as your avatar name.

Operating-system backups depend on your Android and account settings. Trial security credentials are excluded from backup. Restoring a purchase does not restore or synchronize a saved game.

Purchases and restoration

For the one-time purchase, we receive a product identifier, a protected purchase token and purchase status. Our server verifies these using the Google Play Developer API and may receive Google notifications about purchase changes or refunds. We use these data to verify, acknowledge, restore and protect legitimate access. We do not receive your payment card number or Google account password. Google Play processes payment under its own policies.

Trial and abuse prevention

A new trial provides 24 elapsed hours from activation, not 24 hours of playing time. It does not trigger an automatic charge. Play Integrity processes security signals concerning app authenticity, installation eligibility and device integrity. Device Recall stores a limited trial-used flag with Google which can survive uninstallation or a device reset. This feature does not give us a physical device identifier. We do not use the flag for advertising.

Our server processes security tokens and signs time-limited access confirmations. Local credentials are protected by storage based on Android Keystore. An internet connection is needed for activation, purchase, restoration and periodic access verification.

Technical data and support

Server communication involves your IP address and technical request data, such as time, response status and information needed for security verification. We use them to operate the service, limit abuse and investigate outages. Application diagnostic logging is configured not to record full purchase tokens, trial receipts or request bodies.

When you contact us, we process your email address, message and information you choose to provide to resolve your request. Do not send passwords, payment card details, complete purchase tokens or sensitive information about other people.

Purposes and legal bases

Providing and verifying purchased access and related support is necessary to perform our contract with you. Proportionate security checks and fraud prevention rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the service and paying users. Where legally required, we process data to meet our legal obligations. Verification data are necessary for the trial and purchase; without them we may be unable to activate or restore access. Security checks automatically determine game access; contact us for review if you believe a decision is incorrect.

Providers and international transfers

We use Google Play Billing, Google Play Integrity and Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Logging and Monitoring). Data are provided to these services as needed for the purposes described above; support is handled through our business email. We may disclose information to competent authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data. The game contains no advertising SDK or our own analytics SDK.

The verification server is hosted in europe-west1. This does not mean all processing by Google takes place exclusively in the EU. Relevant transfers outside the EEA use safeguards under applicable law and provider agreements, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Retention and security

Verification-service operational logs are configured for 30-day retention. Request rate-limit counters are short-lived. Pending Google Pub/Sub purchase notifications are retained for up to 7 days according to the service configuration. Google specifies that Device Recall values are retained for 3 years from the last read or write.

Local game data remain until replaced or deleted; manage operating-system backups separately. Google Play retains its transaction records under its own policies and legal obligations. We retain support correspondence while resolving a request and subsequently only as needed to protect legal rights or comply with legal duties. Verification-server communication uses HTTPS, and service access is restricted to authorized persons and services.

Your rights and deletion

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@ideamj.sk. We may take proportionate steps to verify your authority. We respond without undue delay within the applicable legal deadlines; where the GDPR applies, generally within one month. We will explain any lawful extension.

You can remove local data through Android app settings. Clearing data or uninstalling the game does not itself remove Google purchase records or the trial flag. If limited records must be retained for legal or proportionate security purposes, we will explain the scope and reason. There is no separate Governix account to close. You may complain to your competent data protection authority, including the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.

Age and website analytics

Governix is intended for an audience aged 16 and over. This is the intended audience, not an assigned Google Play, PEGI or App Store rating. Contact us with any concern about a minor’s data. Company website analytics are separate from the game: Google Analytics on ideamj.sk loads only after consent to analytics cookies. You can change that choice using Cookie settings.

Policy changes

We will update this policy and its revision date when our data practices change. Material changes will be communicated in a manner proportionate to their impact. Actual iOS purchase and data practices will be added before the iOS release.
